Unbeatable hotness in Kuwait can never be perceive as we mark the next ball game. This time men will show their expertise pertaining to beach volleyball last May 25,2015 at Gulf Road seaside.

Started at 6:30 pm and ended at past 10:00 pm,after 3.5 hours of fun games; we were happy to see result. It was a tough competition between Team D- Lenotre Gulf Road and Team A-Nagwa Team.

Game 1 was a blast between Team A-Nagwa and Team D from Lenotre Gulf Road.

After more than two hours of fun games, the battle of the champions awaits the audience and the more it added excitement as Team A and Team D needs to break the tie to know the final result.

Finally at 10:05 pm,Team A was announced as the Grand Champion for MMC Men’s Volleyball summer season and Mahmoud Al Hakim proclaimed as the “ Most Valuable Player”.

Nothing beats the Summer in Kuwait and special thanks to Mr.Ousama Al Mufti, Mr. Mohammed Hussein,Mr. Fawzi,Ms. Charina, all referees and team captains.

Kudos to the winners and of course thank you MMC Catering for making this event a memorable one.

MMC Ladies Volleyball Match

Summer sizzling and everything is quite ecstatic once you roll the game.

We are not discussing sizzling plate of beef or chicken you ordered from a restaurant but the blissful participants from the recent “ MMC 1st Volleyball Ladies Match”.
You will be surprise to see the gifted MMC ladies staff along with their team’s uniforms.

At exactly 6:45 pm we started the 1st Set and ended the 3rd Set at 7:35 pm.

1st Set is so exciting as Team A won having 25 points against Team B of 8 points. Twisted position happened on 2nd Set as Team B got 25 points and Team A with 20 points. The crowd cheered for their favorites and of course it is getting hotter as we experience the last set wherein Team A won having 25 points against

Team B of 19 points. Over all declaration as of 7:36 pm Team A from Crimson Garden,Lenotre Marina and MMC Head Office badged the 1st MMC Ladies Volleyball Grand Champion 2015.

At 7:38 pm,we announced Ms. Leavel Aromin as the “ Most Valuable Player” from Crimson Spoons having 16 individual points.

Most players stayed after the game and still desire to play for more fun.

Nothing beats the Summer in Kuwait and special thanks to Mr. Mohammed Hussein,Mr. Fawzi,Ms. Charina,Ms. Laarni,Ms. Aisha,Ms. Jenny, all referees and team captains.

This is the most awaited part for the team’s players,supporters,colleagues,fans and even MMC Management Team. Who do you think will badge the 1st MMC Basketball Championship for this quarter 2015.
Thanks to Mr. Paul Sarlas,the new CEO of MMC for conceptualizing monthly events for the MMC employees and made it possible through the HR Team and the entire MMC participants.
In my previous article regarding the Semi Finals,Team A will compete with Team B and Team C will compete with Team D ( Battle of the Champions ).

We started at 6:20 pm and everyone was ecstatic to see the Game 1 result. Each team presented their fans club supported by their colleagues. Special Thanks to the following people who attended and witnessed the ball game ablazed with fire with thrilled crowd cheering for their team. Special appreciation to Mr. Khaled Abdul Wahab for sponsoring the trophies for the Grand Champion,1st Runner Up,2nd Runner Up. Strike D’ Ball-MMC 1st Basketball Match

One of the best thing in my life is that I get the chance to meet beautiful and wonderful people. I participated to more than 35 events last year and mostly are related to entertainment world. This time it’s different! I am honored to organize an amazing basketball tournament from our company. That’s the fun after work,meeting new faces and relax through fun sport like this.
MMC in Kuwait organized a local inter basketball match for all employees from all brands held at Kuwait City open basketball court last night from 6-9 pm. What is MMC ? Let me give you a brief background of our company.

MMC owns and operates 19 F&B outlets with a large scale of catering service. With over 600 staff, MMC has been the leader in catering in Kuwait and the region, whilst being recognized by its restaurant brands, Le Notre, Meem Cafe, Sawah, Rice and Dikakeen.

The board has recently appointed CEO Mr. Paul Sarlas to lead an aggressive 5 year expansion plan; developing new brands and existing brands locally and internationally.
We currently have 4000 sqm central kitchen located at Mahaboula. The group has more than 17 years of experience in food & beverage industry.

With this brief background, I could say that it is well established. But work without camaraderie to fellow employees is like a juice without a sugar or a basketball court without players.
At exactly 5:30 pm, my fellow colleagues from work Charina and Fawzi gathered all the players, a total of 4 teams with more than 61 players. Our head coach and I discussed the basic rules of basketball. The 1st game match is about to begin as Meem Hamra,Meem 360 from Team A will compete to Team C from Gate Meem and Lenotre Marina players.

Various supporters, MMC management,friends,colleagues witnessed the fun game. Familiar faces from our company supported the 1st bastketball match: Mr. Ousama,Mr. Khaled,Mr. Kostas,Mr.Haterm,Mr. Yousef,Mr. Mohammed Hussein,Laarni,Mr. Fawzi,Ms. Charina.

1st game match started and crowd cheered for their teams. I saw some banners as well. 1st quarter match between Meem Hamra,Meem 360 from Team A vs Team C from Gate Meem and Lenotre Marina players.

NEW TRANSITION

The best is yet to come. Most of us experience the comfort zone. Favorite hang out for years,same style of clothing since college days. Same company for more than 10 years. Same set of friends and we all settle for security and purpose. But how do we live a life of progress if we are stuck on the same level without changes for any reason or any season at all. We are bound to this so called “ comfortable world” once an earth quake of life occur we immediately complained.

Well,the same style applies to career,family,personal and other aspect of life. We are all untouchables in some ways,some seasons and some parts of our innermost self. Flexibility and adjustment is the key to reach success beyond our imagination. Explore the world with a huge welcome.
I never imagine that I will become a singer some day. I never imagine in my life that I can play keyboard. I never imagine that I can speak and encourage more than 1000 crowd and I never imagine that I can compose songs. These never enter my thoughts and yet it happened all because of HIM. The One who gave me strength,destiny,wisdom,favor to attain all of these.

What is your passion? Is it leading you to your normal 8 hours day job. Or something else? We better start achieving our dreams by allowing ourselves to move forward and open doors to other areas of our life. Not the comfort zone stage but a level of support from within and extraordinary effort to push ourselves beyond our limits.

I thanked God for all the things happened to me this year 2014.

I almost believe that this year is like an ordinary year compared to past years but God proved me wrong as he showed His miracles and favors in my life this year.

So much things I want to say but God is good all the time and I give all the credit to HIM!

Invest now,while you are still young!

Most of my close friends asked me this question “What is the best investment so far ? ”

I immediately replied that real estate is booming and consider to be the best investment aside from restaurant business and laundry shop.

Imagine,when I was young I normally see people transferring to a new house and to my surprised I heard that it was a rent to own or even pre-selling scheme before they have moved in.

I am just in the mid 30’s and desire to have my own house when I was still young. I just realized that as an OFW my asset is not a collection of branded clothes,shoes or bags or even sending my entire salary to my family. My asset is to invest to my future that I can benefit from even if I am away from my homeland.

I can actually rent the house I took from the real estate company and return back with more than equity of what I have invested. In return,the money I invested for the real estate property will be double by the time it will be transferred to me. How amazing business can do if people will only see the positive side and benefits of real estate investment.

Percentage from bank pertaining to interest if you have time deposit is lesser compared to the real estate business. I am so happy to invest 2 properties at mid 30’s and almost 60% of my salary are invested in this business. I won’t regret having this kind of investment instead of asking yourself after the pay day what have you bought from the sale items from the malls which are not necessary or spending so much time from shopping,food trip and leisure. Although,I am not saying,these are all bad but sometimes you have to treat yourself.

What I’m trying to say is that at the very young age,invest in real estate aside from having savings from the bank as this is your ROI ( return of investment ) will come to you upon turn over.

Instead of regretting in the future why you have not invested a single penny while you are still young,active and with a greater opportunity I want to hear a positive action that even if almost half of your salary is segregated for real estate investment you know you will it reap double in the future that can be transferred to your children’s children.

I want to encourage and ask these questions to my readers : “ Where have you invested your monthly salary?” and again “What is the best investment so far ? ”

Express Urself Production-Fresh in Q8 Town

The Largest Production is here in town to broadcast the highlights of OFW supreme gifts and talents. The biggest production that has more than 100 Talent Center Network with massive network from International artist. Newest in town known as Express Urself Production.

Highlighting educational,training center,theatrical plays,international and local events,recording and studio making.

Their first project hit yesterday from Philippine Embassy wherein 3 group of artists performed. First project of its kind that captivates the soul to share their blessings to fellow kababayans.

The biggest so far and was adopted from ABS CBN network since 3 officers worked from the same station from Manila and one officer handled more than 40 shows local and international.

Official officers were announced as officiated by Philippine Embassy-Kuwait Ambassador Honorable Lamberto Monsanto.

Congrats to official officers and their first project : Randy,Lyza,Anne,Malou,Jeru,Marlon and Kim.

Blessings Starts from Giving!

We all knew that life is too short. We can count each day passes by and the more you do so,you sometimes neglect the most important things in life.

Define success? Define achievements? Define glory? There are all temporary. The most important thing in life is the way you live. How other people perceived you.
What is your legacy? Your reputation-is it a good standing?

People thought that having friends,wealth and glory makes them own the world. Actually,these are all temporary and sometimes can be a distraction to a “Real” success. Real in a way of sharing your blessings,your perception,your passion,your visions and helping people in times of need.

We normally respond and tell people that we don’t have much but the more you say that the chance of more blessings are hindered since you don’t go beyond your means. The more you don’t have …….a greater opportunity for you to give more.

It amazing to watch people during salary day buying and shopping for their family but they don’t have much. Wealthy people doesn’t give much as they want to save. Middle class family gives more as this is their way to receive more blessings.

“It doesn’t matter how much you give,what matters is the way you give with a huge heart in your own little ways”.
